About these terms

By browsing pawsitivelypaleo.com or placing an order you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site.

Our products

Our smoked meats are made as treats for dogs. They are single-ingredient and human-grade in how they're made, but they're sold as pet treats — please don't eat them yourself, however tempting.

Follow the feeding guidance on the bag, always supervise your dog with a new treat, and keep fresh water nearby. Marrow bones are a chew, not a meal.

Orders and pricing

Prices are in US dollars and exclude sales tax and shipping, which are shown at checkout before you pay.

We can refuse or cancel an order — for example if a price or stock level is clearly wrong, or if payment can't be authorized. If we cancel a paid order, you get a full refund.

Your order is accepted when we confirm it, which happens when payment is authorized and checkout completes.

Checkout and payments

Checkout and card processing are run by Shopify. We never see or store your card number.

Sales tax is charged where we're required to collect it. Shipping is a flat $6.75 per order, with free local delivery inside our 4-mile radius.

Availability

We make our treats in small batches. If something is unavailable after you order it, we'll tell you and refund that item.

The handwritten gift note is a $2.00 add-on that travels with the order it's added to.

Your account and your details

Tell us your dog's name and weight and we use them to label your order and suggest the right size of treat. You can ask us to correct or remove those details any time by emailing hello@pawsitivelypaleo.com.

Our content

The photos, wording, and the Pawsitively Paleo name and logo belong to us. Please don't copy or reuse them without asking.

Other companies we use

Checkout (Shopify), shipping labels, and email delivery are handled by services we don't own. Their terms apply to those steps, and we're not responsible for how they run their platforms.

Limits on our responsibility

To the extent the law allows, we aren't responsible for indirect losses, and our responsibility for an order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing here limits our responsibility for a defective product.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version posted here applies to orders placed after it was posted.

Where these terms apply

These terms are governed by California law, where we make and ship our treats.
