Are smoked marrow bones safe for dogs?

How we smoke our 100% beef marrow bones low and slow — under 200 degrees — so they won't splinter, with no additives.

Smoked low, so they won't splinter

Our marrow bones are smoked at a low temperature — under 200 degrees. That gentle heat is the reason they won't splinter.

We briefly smoke each batch over real hickory. It's enough to give the bones an irresistible smell without overpowering the natural flavor.

One ingredient: 100% beef bone

Each bone is 100% beef bone, sourced in the US. No additives, fillers, preservatives, or artificial anything.

Why they're called babysitter bones

Also known as “babysitter bones,” our hickory smoked marrow bones keep owners and dogs happy for hours — and help clean teeth.

Marrow is high in monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats, including omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, which help support brain function, skin hydration, and a shiny coat. It also contains Vitamins A, E, K and D, plus B12 for energy and vitality.
